Prosoul is a South African DJ, Producer & Sound Engineer, born on the 29th December 2002 in the dusty streets of Soweto, Meadowlands. He is the
second and last born following his older brother Phendulo Bakali who was the first to pursue music in the family as he learned to produce and DJ
using Reason (Production) and AutoMix (Dj) which were popular in those early 2000s. A few years after his older brothers inception in the music
making world, and as the popularity grew, he discovered he also shared the same love and passion for music through his brothers consistent
passion and focus at the time. When Prosoul turned 7years he’s father bought him his first computer where he started experimenting with sounds
and production softwares such as FruityLoops & Reason. Not so long after that he started gaining popularity among his peers and neighbours as an
outstanding and talented young producer.

By age 15 (2017) he got his 1st booking at an Event in Zondi Soweto, where he was the youngest Dj and had the most appreciated set of the night, from
there, the rest is history. A few weeks later Bookings started pilling in and the sudden recognition of his talents eventually got him a Jozi Fm Guest
DJ Slot in 2020, which catapulted his musical career to greater and greener pastures.
Not so long after his Guest DJ Appearance at JOZI FM which made him get the attention and love of many South Africans, he was approached by DJ
MIZA (Nkamodira HitMaker), who then signed him under his label MIZA PRODUCTIONS for a period of a year (2020-2021). In 2021 he then met DJ
FARMER and they worked on their first song together titled THONGA LAMI which made waves around the streets of Soweto and gained him respect as
the upcoming AmaPiano King.
In 2022 he was recognized by J-Smash who then refered him to ENTERTAINMENT LORDS, an International Record Label with roots in the south
African music industry where he grew even bigger after releasing his first official music video to his song PURE SURPRISE which featured big names
like J-SMASH & HOWARD GOMBA which later surpassed over one million (1 000 000) views on YouTube. Since then Prosoul has worked with the likes
of KabzaDeSmall, De Mthuda, Dj Jaivani, Manu Worldstar to name a few, and has had a continued following and support as the Young King of
AmaPiano in Soweto.
